I know Mother's day is over, but I am still reminiscing over our incredible weekend. Above is a photo collage of snap shots taken that weekend with my phone. It might have been the best Mother's day yet. We had fun at Lake Almanor on Saturday. On Sunday we enjoyed homemade margaritas and lobster. In spite of having a little too much fun in the sun, and ending up with a sunburn, even with sunscreen, it was still an amazing weekend. My sweet Joshua even transplanted my new beautiful hydrangeas for me.  I hope you had just as much fun. Lilies make a great gift for women who want the beauty of flowers but don't want to take care of them.  Roses can sometimes feel cliché but lilies are perfect for every occasion. They are beautiful and modern, perfect for an anniversary or birthday. I hope you don't have any apologizing to do, but if so, lilies are a perfect choice for gifting. Ladies don't wait for a gift, in fact I bought myself flowers on Mother's day because they make me smile.  Treat yourself to lilies. You can purchase potted bulbs at your local grocery stores, garden centers, and flower shops. Below are more images that really inspired me:

Flowers are a great specimen for practicing your macro photography. They have so much beauty and detail to capture.

I am not sure why I love them so, maybe it's because pink is one of my favorite colors, or maybe it's because I am a Friends fan, and Rachel's favorite flower was  lilies, either way you can't go wrong with flowers. 

Hpnotiq Blueberry Margarita

If you enjoy margaritas, then this is a must try recipe. It might just be my best margarita yet. Perfect for Summer, light and refreshing. This margarita is hypnotizing! 

Hpnotiq Blueberry Margarita On The Rocks

Ingredients:

(makes 2 margaritas)

2 Shots of Hpnotiq Liqueur

2 Shots of Blue Agave Silver Tequila 

Juice of 1 Cup of Fresh Blueberries (reserve 2 berries for garnish)

Juice of 1 Fresh Lime

1 Shot of Roses Sweetened Lime Juice

2 TBS of Grenadine

Directions:

Mix all of your ingredients together. Serve over ice. 

For Blended Margarita

You may also serve this as a blended margarita. You could juice blueberries first or throw them whole into your blender for a pulpier drink. Add a few handfuls of ice and remaining ingredients, and blend until you reach your desired consistency.
